How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Scranly. You can cancel there and you keep access until the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get a 7 day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. After the trial, the subscription renews at the price shown on the paywall until cancelled.
I reinstalled or got a new phone. Where did my Pro access go?
Open Scranly, go to Profile and tap Restore purchases (it is also on the paywall). Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Profile, then Account actions, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, diary, favourites and login. It cannot be undone. Details of what we store are in the privacy policy.
A restaurant I eat at is missing. Can you add it?
Yes please tell us. In the app: Profile, then Request a restaurant. Chains with published nutrition data are the quickest for us to add.
Are the macros accurate?
Nutrition data comes from publicly available sources, mainly the chains' own published figures. Recipes change and portions vary in store, so treat values as a close guide rather than a lab measurement, and check with the restaurant if you have an allergy. Spot something wrong? Email us and we will fix it.
Why can't Scranly see restaurants near me?
Check location access: iOS Settings, then Scranly, then Location, and choose While Using the App. If you prefer not to share location you can still browse chains, just without distances.
Can I replay the app tour?
Yes. Profile, then Replay app tour.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. It is on the roadmap, and restaurant requests and demand genuinely shape the order we build things.
